Zooiami is an electrifying album inspired by the bustling streets and wild energy of Miami. I wanted to capture the city’s pulse and its hidden wilderness, creating a sonic “zoo” where each track embodies a different animal spirit.
The music is raw and alive, driven by deep basslines, pulsating rhythms, and hypnotic grooves — all played live on three Moog Mavis units, a Moog DFAM, the System 55 modular, and long chains of guitar pedals. The title track, Zooiami, sets the tone with infectious energy, pulling you straight into Miami’s vibrant chaos.
Each piece blurs the line between human and animal, city and jungle, technology and instinct. The analog synthesizers channel primal voices through their circuitry, turning voltage into character, tension, and life.
This is Miami reimagined in sound — vivid, unpredictable, and untamed.
