Venus spins through many moods — gentle, chaotic, warm, electric. It begins with acoustic guitar and an e-bow sliding through morning light, a quiet nod to early Pink Floyd. Then it starts to wander.
Analog synths rise and take over. Strange pulses emerge. In Phase Disorder there’s a sudden jolt — a glitch in the dream. Then something playful grows in Music for the Plants, a soft wink to Mort Garson. Later, Retrograde Revival bursts with bright intensity, like Nine Inch Nails grinning in sunlight.
Nothing here stays in one place — and that’s the point. This album doesn’t follow a straight path. It orbits, it drifts, it spins out and returns, finally landing in the gentle glow of Riverlight.
