The Energy is a double album that moves through many moods, from short bursts of light to long, hypnotic journeys. I wanted it to feel like a cycle — shifting between intensity, reflection, and moments of calm, always driven by that invisible force we call energy.
It opens with the brief spark of Over The Hills, then plunges into the expansive Aliens Suite and the driving title track The Energy. Along the way you’ll hear the motorik pulse of Die Neue Strasse, the meditative drift of In Harmony With Tao, and the warm breeze of Winds of Summer. Pieces like Becoming and The Space Between Us turn inward, while Black Widow stretches into one of the album’s darkest and longest explorations.
The second half continues with the immersive Gratify Thy Mind, the soaring Carried Away, and three bonus pieces — Midnight Sun, Mistaken, and Rainbow After The Storm — each adding its own color. The album closes on On The Edge Of The Unknown, leaving you with the sense of standing before something vast and unfinished.
This is music for long listening sessions, for getting lost in the details, and for feeling the ebb and flow of sound as it carries you forward.
