Mercury Collection – Night Drive Edition is a curated three-hour body of cinematic analog music, shaped as one continuous late-night listening experience.
The collection opens with a live analog reinterpretation of a classic Miami Vice theme, then unfolds into extended Mercury I, Mercury II, and Jupiter material – long, evolving movements designed for night drives, focused work, and immersive listening.
Performed and recorded using analog instruments, this edition emphasizes warmth, motion, and space rather than short tracks or abrupt transitions. It’s meant to be played from beginning to end – on the road, at work, in the studio, or late at night when attention stretches and time slows down.
Inspired by the atmosphere of the Miami Vice era and the work of Jan Hammer, reimagined through Caught In Joy’s analog language.
Caught In Joy plays Moog, Sequential & modular synthesizers, Fender guitars. Recorded live on tape. Mixed by CIJ on 2xTEAC analog consoles. Mastered at Arabica Studios.
