For centuries, cartographers mapped oceans, coastlines, deserts, and distant lands. This album imagines those same explorers turning their attention toward the sky.
Cartographers Of The Sky is a journey through distant horizons, unknown signals, and imagined worlds beyond the familiar.
Across nearly 90 minutes of analog electronic music, the album moves between expansive Berlin School sequences, cinematic passages, drifting atmospheres, and moments of quiet reflection.
Recorded using analog synthesizers, sequencers, guitars, and hardware instruments, then captured to tape and mixed through vintage analog equipment, each piece follows its own path while remaining part of a larger voyage. From the opening light of A Sunset Theatron to the vast landscapes of Cartographers Of The Sky, the mysterious transmissions of Signal From An Unknown Moon, and the final ascent of Artemis II, the album explores the space between curiosity and discovery, finally landing you in your own private Penthouse In The Sky.
Created for deep listening, focused work, night drives, reflection, and those moments when you simply want to leave the ground behind for a while.
